The Bobcat Wedding

I have to share with you the most stressful time I had back on 19th August 2000. It was during this time that it became apparent to me that our Bobcat had to be a part of our biggest day. The Wedding!

My wife agreed, and I was ecstatic. I phoned my favourite rental person at Silverwater (Ruth Arkan) with the news. I couldn't believe it when she suggested I use 2 brand spanking new 773s! Upon receiving the Bobcats the day before the wedding, it meant that I had less than 24 hours to give my best man a crash course on how to drive a Bobcat.

It was 1.30 p.m. and in the Bobcat, the best man and I arrived to the ceremony. What a fabulous reception! Everyone was so excited to see these brilliantly clean machines dressed with white ribbon, carting four James Bond look alikes! The final challenge was to park the machines at an angle so that the raised buckets met and formed the shape of an arch, heart shaped actually, for my bride and I to be married in front of. She was very impressed.
