Bobcat Australia has introduced the new Bobcat S160 Skid Steer Loader. The S160 is additional to the range of Bobcat Skid Steer Loaders which now totals 14.

The S160 features several major enhancements, including dual tilt cylinders and an operating weight of 2774 kg.

The S160's dual tilt cylinders offer both an increases to the breakout force and easy entry and exit from the machine. The Bobcat S160 is a radius lift path loader similar in size to its vertical lift path counterparts, the Bobcat S175 and S185.

Other major enhancements are found in the lift arms, which have improved cross section and material thickness, providing greater visibility to the Bob-Tach™ mounting system, cutting edge and rear tyres.

With the same dimensions as S150, the S160 with a Powerful Kubota 56 hp Turbo charged engine produces plenty of traction and breakout force for excavating and handling large loads. There's also 64 lpm hydraulic pump for efficient attachment performance.

The S160 now with a fuel tank capacity of 91 litres allows for longer operating times. Other attributes are a long wheelbase for smooth and comfortable ride, excellent visibility to sides, front and rear corners of loader, roomy comfort for operators of all sizes, rear-pivot seat bar, state-of-the-art instrumentation, fully adjustable suspension seat and fitted to the cab are top, rear and side windows.

The S160 is a versatile machine designed to aid contractors in the construction, landscaping, agriculture and recycling industries.
