Bobcat Australia adds to its line of compact excavators the new 316 ultra-compact excavator. With an operating weight of 760 kg, width of 700 mm and length of 2913 mm the 316 is the smallest excavator in Bobcat Australia’s range.

With a maximum dig depth of 1,550 mm, dump height of 2,010 mm and maximum reach at ground level of 2,755 mm, the 316 is a machine ideal for limited access and space restricted areas.

Like the larger Bobcat model 322 compact excavator, the 316 features a hydraulically expandable undercarriage to provide optimum performance when digging over the side of the machine. When retracted the undercarriage is just 700 mm wide allowing excellent manoeuvrability when working in tight surroundings.

The 316 is powered by a three cylinder Kubota diesel liquid cooled 7.4 kW engine and features flip-up engine hood for easy servicing. As well as these features the 316 as standard comes equipped with the following, 4-Post TOPS canopy, control locks, horn, retractable seat belt, rubber tracks, hydraulically expandable undercarriage, auxiliary hydraulics, spark arrestor muffler and dozer blade, with extensions.
