The Drop Hammer is the newest attachment added to Bobcat Australia's
ever growing attachment line. The drop hammer attachment efficiently
demolishes concrete and asphalt up to 457 mm thick. It exerts low
vibration and little noise when compared to standard hydraulic beakers
making it an excellent demolition attachment for parking lots, driveways
and footpaths.
The Bobcat drop hammer is powered by the loaders hydraulics requiring
a minimum flow of 56 lpm, the drive motor with chain drive lifts
a 517 kg weight, has a maximum stoke of 965 mm resulting in an impact
energy rating of 4880 nm. Using this form of energy the Bobcat Drop
Hammer generates little vibration or noise making it an ideal tool
for the use in industries such as municipalities, Demolition and
landscaping.
Fast cycle time of 20 blows-per-minute allows the operator three
seconds to reposition and reset the loader between cycles. With
a height of 1880 mm fully extended the hammer is able to be used
inside buildings with low head room, it can virtually be used anywhere
the loader can enter.
Attaching and detaching the loader from the hammer is easy with
the standard Bob-Tach mounting system; while not in use the hammer
will free stand upright. It has a cushioned safety valve that ensures
the weight will fall slowly should hydraulic flow to the attachment
be shutoff or lost in mid-stroke. The Bobcat drop hammer is approved
for use on the S175 - S300 skid steer loaders, A300 all-wheel steer
loader and T190 - T300 compact track loaders.
