Bobcat Australia puts the Bobcat landscape rake attachment through its paces on the newly released Bobcat S150 Skid Steer Loader, which has dual tilt cylinders and a rated operating weight of 2568 kg.

The Bobcat Landscape rake is offered in two sizes. The 5B measuring 1534 mm wide, with 12 tooth bars, 384 teeth and weighing 485 kg. The 6B more suited to models the S150 through to the T300 is 1998 mm wide, also with 12 tooth bars but features 468 teeth and weighs 510 kg.

Eliminating the need for hand raking, the Bobcat landscape rake is a one-pass finishing tool that is very productive and useful. As it rakes it collects surface debris and is able to pick up rocks as small as 20 mm while smoothing and levelling the soil. The bucket provides a storage area for the rocks and debris collected by the raking bars. When the bucket is full a hydraulic cylinder opens the top cover for easy dumping on site or into a truck.

The Bobcat landscape rake functions like a broom and dustpan. By pulling the attachment across the surface the rake bars are rotated by the loaders hydraulic supply and are powered across the surface giving the raking action. Ideal for job site or yard preparation before seeding, paving or laying turf. Also the landscape rake is equally effective in grading, levelling and scarifying in close quarters.

Compatible with all S series skid steer loaders as well as the T190, T250 and T300 track loaders the Bobcat landscape rake is perfect for the construction and landscaping industries.
