Bobcat
Australia boosts its excavator range with the introduction of the
435 zero tail swing excavator. By eliminating tail swing as seen
on conventional machines, Bobcat have created a machine to work
along walls, embankments and in space restricted areas. Measuring
just 2541 mm in height and 1930 mm in width, the 435 with its zero
tail swing configuration provides a safer working environment for
operators, co-workers, surrounding property and by-standers.
The Bobcat 435 excavator is also equipped with an industry first
all hydrostatic drive system, known as FastTrack. This unique drive
system splits the power from left and right track resulting in more
torque, precise manoeuvring and smoother acceleration. This FastTrack
system gives the operator the option of low and high speed, 4.5
km and 8.7 km respectively.
With a high range travel speed of 8.7 km, the Bobcat 435 is able
to move from task to task quickly increasing productivity and in
some situations may also allow the machine to move from jobsite
to jobsite where a conventional drive excavator would need to be
transported.
Powered by a 36.5 kW Kubota turbo-charged diesel engine, the Bobcat
435 has an operating weight of 4787 Kg, maximum digging depth 3421
mm, bucket breakout force of 35105 N and produces 75 L/m of auxiliary
hydraulic flow. The combination of zero tail swing, Bobcat's unique
FastTrack system a powerful engine and digging capabilities makes
the Bobcat 435 an ideal machine for all purposes and conditions.
Standard features on the Bobcat 435 are a swing open tailgate and
side access panel for unmatched serviceability, spacious operator
area equal in size to conventional tail swing excavators and the
hydraulic hoses are routed within the width of the digger arm to
prevent damage and snagging. Also the 435 is fitted with blade float,
which facilitates precise backblading
