A Powerful Vertical Lift Path Loader

Bobcat Australia has released the Bobcat® S250 skid-steer loader. Featuring a rated operating capacity (ROC) of 1,134kg, the S250 is a vertical lift path loader designed for tough-duty construction, landscaping, masonry, rental and a variety of lift-and-carry applications.

The new Bobcat S250 skid-steer loader replaces the 873 loader in the Bobcat product line and has several major enhancements. Its lift arms are made from 8mm steel and are 95mm wide and have been designed for tough applications. This new design gives the S250 superior lift height of 3,211mm, a reach of 864mm, and an increased dump angle of 42 degrees for easy truck loading.

Operators will appreciate the increased hydraulic power on the S250. The mechanical design and hydraulic system on the S250 complement each other to increase the hydraulic breakout forces. The S250 has hydraulic lift breakout force 28,024 newtons and a hydraulic tilt breakout of 30,426 newtons. This is a gain of 31 percent in lift breakout force, and a gain of 46 percent in tilt breakout force, compared to the 873.

The S250 provides good, all-around visibility, especially to the working end of the loader, (the attachment and tyres). Operator comfort has not been overlooked on the S250, either. Options include cab heater and air conditioning, adjustable suspension seat and a two-speed transmission. The Bob-Tach system has also been redesigned to improve the shedding of mud and debris, and in common with other Bobcat loaders, there are many job-matched attachments available.
