Bobcat Australia expands its extensive line of compact earth moving
equipment with the introduction of the MT50 Compact Track loader.
This walk-behind loader works where many larger machines cannot
fit and provides excellent attachment performance.
The new Bobcat MT50 Compact Track loader mechanizes labor forces,
even where there is no room for the smallest skid-steer loader or
compact excavator. This compact walk-behind loader is just 904mm
wide, 1,750 mm long and 1,128 mm high, it has a rated operating
capacity of 227 kg and a 1,900-mm lift height.
With a 14.92 kW liquid-cooled Kubota diesel engine, 50.72 l/min
of auxiliary hydraulic flow and a 2,600-psi hydraulic system, the
MT50 has the power needed for optimum performance with a variety
of attachments. More than 10 attachments are available and most
attachments are common with the Bobcat 463 skid-steer loader. Changing
attachments is fast and easy with the Bob-Tach attachment
mounting system, which is standard on the MT50.
The MT50 is equipped with a rubber-track undercarriage that allows
it's 1,132-kg weight to tread lightly, exerting only 0.36 bar ground
pressure. The tracks on the MT50 distribute the loader's weight
over a larger area, which reduces ground pressure and minimizes
damage to lawns and other established surfaces. The tracks also
provide improved traction and better flotation.
Operators will find the MT50 a pleasure to use with an easy to
understand and operate instrument panel. Two independent hand levers
control the travel and steering and two levers control the lifting
and tilting functions.
The Bobcat MT50 Mini Track loader safety features include a reverse-travel
stop panel, a parking brake, neutral start interlocks, lift and
tilt lockout system, lift arm bypass and a lift arm support device.
The MT50 will prove to be a valuable piece of equipment in landscape
applications, fencing, cleanup tasks (both indoor and out) and in
any other limited access areas that prevent the use of larger size
equipment. Landscape contractors can eliminate much of the hand
labor normally found in landscaping applications with the wide variety
of attachments available. Contractors have the ability to move dirt,
trench, level, landscape rock, erect fences, plant trees and drill
post holes.
